GKP Annual Members' Meeting
The Annual Members' Meeting (AMM) brings together all GKP members in a face-to-face gathering to discuss issues of concern and agree on a common course of action for GKP. Each year, the AMM is held in different regions of the world and highlights discussion on issues relevant to that region. Previous AMMs have been held in countries such as Ethiopia, Italy, Costa Rica, Egypt and Sri Lanka.
The AMM is a crucial platform for members to learn more about each other, to share knowledge and explore new opportunities for collaboration. Besides reviewing the GKP Network activities for the past year, the AMM also determine the direction of GKP in the coming years through dynamic debates and discussions. Newly elected Executive Committee and Membership Committee members are also introduced to the larger membership at the AMM. Scheduled during the AMM are breakout meetings for various working groups to plan for the coming year. Regional Coordinators have the opportunity to engage with members in their regions to discuss, strategise and develop their proposed Regional Workplans for implementation during the coming year.
